All of us at Wendal’s Way want to say a HUGE thank you to all of you…our supporters. With EIGHT dogs in care, our little rescue has been stretched to the limits. But you all came through for us in spades…our May online auction (our most successful yet!), our 2nd anniversary DoxAgility event(SO much fun!), our recent ‘ask’ for donations, all the new foster applications, and so much interest in our dogs. It means the world to us, but far more importantly, it helps us to continue to help the dachshunds who need it.
Here at Wendal’s Way, we have a special place in our hearts for senior dogs as well as dogs with high medical needs. And we have some of those in our care right now – seniors Jessie, Charlie, Rosie (our sanctuary girls); Oscar the 1st who is patiently waiting to find his new family; most recently Oscar 2 or Oscar tutu as he is affectionately called; Peaches & Blossom the adorable young special needs girls who are hearing & vision impaired; and the sweet Frank who, due to IVDD, is paralyzed in the hind end (but has taken to using a walker like a pro!).
With other dogs waiting to come into care, the need is still there. Whether it’s a DONATION, or LIKING and SHARING, everything helps. Thank you from all of us. 💜
