Since JESSIE came to us 5 months ago, Wen’s Way has worked hard to sort out her various health issues. She has already had three major surgeries: dental surgery to remove most of her teeth due to infection, surgery to remove and biopsy mammary tumours, as well as her spay surgery. That’s hard on an older girl. We really thought she had put all that behind her and that she was ready to find her forever home. Sadly, it was not to be. At her last health check, it was discovered that her cancer has come back. Given her age, and the number of recent surgeries she’s already been through, our board feels that it would be in her best interest to stay where she is, in her loving foster home who specializes in palliative care.
And so, Miss Jessie will become a Wendal’s Way Sanctuary dog. Thank you so much for those of you who applied for this beautiful, happy go lucky girl. Sadly, some things are just not meant to be.
Jessie’s care is of the utmost importance to us at Wen’s Way and we would welcome any donations which would go towards her ongoing vet expenses. As a registered charity, you will receive an automatic tax receipt when donating directly from our website at https://wenswaydoxrescue.com/donate/
