As always, the Doxie Dash races were a big hit – the spectators even asked for a repeat race (WWDR foster Hector won both races knowing foster daddy AND a piece of hot dog were waiting at the other end). And you can’t have a birthday party without cake – everyone enjoyed a free piece. A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us – the public, our vendors, and our wonderful volunteers. And we can’t forget the people who made generous financial donations to help make our birthday a great one. Your support means more than you can know. We are so lucky to love what we do, to appreciate & respect the people we work with, who make this rescue what it is. And now, on into our second year of doing what we love best – helping dachshunds in need!
