November is ‘Adopt a Senior Pet Month’ and although we don’t have any seniors available for adoption at this time, we feel it is important to raise awareness of elderly pet ownership.
Many senior pets end up being surrendered to shelters and rescues through no fault of their own, due to changing circumstances of their families. They were loyal, loving, kind animals and still are. They just need someone new to love them and to be loved in return. Every pet, regardless of age, deserves a loving home because love is ageless.
